This is the second most visited shrine in India after the Tirumala Venkateshwara.

4. Moinuddin Chishti, Rajasthan

Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti (also known as Gharib Nawaz) was one of the most revered Sufi saint, preacher, philosopher, religious scholar, and mystic who was known for serving the poor. This is the reason why his Dargah or mausoleum is a spot of unadulterated faith.
People from all over the country and the world, irrespective of their religion, visit this place. Located in Ajmer, the annual Urs is attended by innumerable pilgrims. It is said that Emperor Akbar too visited this place to seek blessing for his son.

5. The Golden Temple, Punjab

Also known as the Harmandir Sahib this is one of the most prominent Gurudwara and is also a historical monument in India. Located in Amritsar, Sri Harmandir Sahib is the holiest place for the Sikhs. The Adi Granth (the holy scriptures of Sikhism) is installed in this temple.
Also, it’s home to the Akal Takht (the seat of the temporal authority of the God). This place is not only visited by the Sikhs but is a place of worship for anyone from all religion and all walks of life.
